Saint Ninian FC are appealing to the public to respect the closure of the Farmers’ Showfield during matches.

The club lease the field from the Nairnshire Farming Society and under league rules must have an enclosed pitch for games. In a statement the club state: “Our season is under way and the Showfield will be closed for a few hours every match day. We would appreciate that people do not climb the gates or the fence to access the field during the match.

“If this happens then unless you are willing to pay the entry fee you will be asked to leave the premises.

“Also spectators who bring their dogs along please have them on a lead and not running around the Showfield.

“When members of the public are walking their dogs outwith our matches can you please keep the field tidy and as a nicer place for all who use it.”
