After a two-year break due to Covid the popular car tour is back on Saturday.

Drivers will start in Inverness for a 160 mile route out to the west coast, heading over to Garve and Achnasheen with a rest stop on the Isle of Skye.

They will then head back through Glenmoriston and alongside Loch Ness to finish back in the Highland capital.

The non-competitive tour is aimed at classic and vintage cars though the Rotary Club of Inverness Loch Ness will also welcome modern cars “of a sporting nature”.

Since its first outing 2017 the event has raised money for charity, with this year’s chosen beneficiary to be Prostate Scotland.

The entry list for the tour will be open until the end of today (Tuesday).

Details for entry can be found online here
