Crofters Cafe in Rosemarkie to hold BBQ fundraiser as part of bid to raise £10k for Highland Hospice

A BLACK Isle cafwe is holding a barbecue fundraiser for Highland Hospice tomorrow evening (August 25) as part of a campaign to raise £10,000.

The Crofters Cafe, situated on the beach front of the Black Isle village, will donate 20 per cent of all the money raised to Highland Hospice.

The barbecue night will take place on the cafe's front patio, from 5pm.

The fundraiser event is part of the cafe's scheme to raise £10,000 for Highland Hospice before Boxing Day this year.

Crofter's Cafe are also due to hold a Pizza and Music night, as well as a highly anticipated raffle. The raffle is £5 per ticket, with winners being announced once the cafe reaches the £10,000 goal. Tickets are being sold in the cafe and at the navigator cafe in Inverness.

Some of the raffle prizes include: Isle of Raasay Gin; full body massage at Heavenly Bliss; 12-year Jura whisky; a hamper containing many homemade delights a £100 voucher for the Crofter's Cafe, and more prizes yet to be announced.

Highland Hospice is a charity who supports people, and their families and carers, living with an advancing, life shortening illness in the Highlands. Highland Hospice helps them to live the best possible life and to prepare for and experience the bets possible death.

The Highland Hospice is an independent local charity reliant on the community for donations to help maintain the services it offers.
