Rocpool restaurant has announced that it has retained two AA rosettes for culinary excellence.

In a Facebook post it announced: "We are so proud we have retained our two AA rosettes for culinary excellence 2022-2023.

"Congratulations to the whole team, it is great to see such high recognition for all their hard work!"

The AA Rosette award, first awarded in 1956, was the first nationwide scheme for assessing the quality of food served by restaurants and hotels.

The Rosette is an award, not a classification: Rosettes are awarded annually on a rising scale based on a meal visit by one or more inspectors.
