Lifesavers with the RNLI have thanked the generosity of a major Highland business and its customers after they raised hundreds for the charity.

The RNLI's Kessock lifeboat crew were on hand recently to receive a donation of almost £400.

The money was raised through collections of spare change in Harry Gow's 21 bakeries.

In January, generous customers donated £392.02 by placing their spare coins in the collection tins.

"We’d like to say a massive thank you to our friends at Harry Gow Bakeries and all of their generous customers who put spare change into the collection cans in one of the 21 stores," said a spokesperson for the RNLI Kessock crew.
