Rituals set to open in Eastgate Shopping Centre after double blow

National retailer Rituals is set to occupy a unit in Inverness's Eastgate Shopping Centre in early 2023.
This comes as two stores announced departures from the store, yesterday.
These include fashion retailers Phase Eight and Yours.
A comment received from Eastgate shopping centre manager Jackie Cuddy states that both units are set to shut on Christmas Eve.
She said: “Phase Eight’s lease expires in early January, and they have been consolidating their business, so decided not to renew at Eastgate.
“The store will close for business on Christmas Eve.”
It is believed that Phase Eight also left Silverburn last Christmas, and has additionally closed its store in Perth.
She added: “I believe they have other stores closing, but I am not sure of their locations.”
Plus-size retailer Yours were set to get another unit in the Eastgate, however, there was not a unit that suited them.
Rituals will open in the unit that is currently occupied by Yours.
The businesses have been contacted for comment.
