NHS Highland’s annual review has been rescheduled for April 25 at the Culduthel Christian Centre in Inverness.

Scotland's health secretary Jeane Freeman will be there.

The date has been rearranged from April 9 due to the recent appointment of Professor Boyd Robertson as the new interim chairman of the health board.

Prof Robertson said: “I would like to apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

“The annual review is an ideal platform to look at what happened over the 2017/18 year and to celebrate the positive work carried out across Highland over the recent months. It also allows us to address some of the challenges we have faced.

“I look forward to meeting with members of the public on the day during the public session, which is an ideal opportunity to ask a question of NHS Highland or the Scottish Government.”

The agenda will be set by the Scottish Government health department based on national standards and agreed local performance targets.

As well as reviewing the performance of the board over the last year, stakeholders will be able to hear first-hand from the new NHS Highland leadership team about the organisation’s plans for the year ahead.
