Reports a man has been charged in connection with the disappearance of Inverness's Renee MacRae

It is being reported that a man is due to appear at Inverness Sheriff Court in connection with the case of Renee MacRae and her son Andrew who went missing in 1976
Mrs MacRae and Andrew (3) were last seen in Inverness on November 12, 1976.
Mrs MacRae's BMW car was later found burnt-out in a lay-by on the A9 near Dalmagarry, south of the city.
Earlier this year police searched Leanach Quarry and began the process of interviewing and reinterviewing hundreds of witnesses in the case to try again to discover what happened to the mother and son.
