The reports came after the HGV toppled over in Lower Kessock Street in Inverness yesterday, causing the closure of the Far North Line and Kyle Line.

The road was closed until early evening and ScotRail cancelled north and westbound services until 6.30pm while the bridge was checked.

A series of road diversions were also put in place.
