WATCH: Remembrance Sunday marked in Inverness with parade and service

Large crowds turned out in Inverness for a Remembrance Sunday parade and service to remember those who have died in conflict.

Veterans were joined by young people, politicians and civic dignitaries, members of the services and others as they marched from Huntly Street to the Cavell Gardens war memorial.

It was among a series of poignant services and wreath-laying services taking place today in communities across the Highlands communities.

The Inverness service included a two-minute silence and the placing of wreaths.

It was conducted by the padre of the Inverness branch of the Royal British Legion Scotland, Rev Canon Dr John Cuthbert.

Also taking part in the prayers and readings was the very Rev Sarah Murray, Provost of Inverness Cathedral.

Emily Murray, of Inverness Royal Academy, read Binyon's lines while Albin MacCallum, of Inverness Royal Academy, read Kohima Epitaph.
