The Highland Business Awards return in September, and it is an opportunity to recognise the diversity, strength and innovation of every type and size of business across the region.

Organised by Inverness Chamber of Commerce, the winners will be announced at the Highland Business Awards at the Kingsmills Hotel, Inverness on Friday, September 29.

The Highland Business Awards is being sponsored by Highland Council, who wish to ensure that the region remains a place where businesses can thrive.

Macolm Macleod, interim depute chief executive at the local authority, said: “Highland Council is proud to support the recognition of all of the fantastic businesses in Highland that are starting-up, delivering on growth, employment opportunity and vibrancy for the region.

“As we enter a period where challenges remain, but opportunities are plentiful, close working relationships between the council, partner agencies, the private sector and the third sector will ensure that Highland remains a great place to invest, to live in and of course to visit and return time and time again.”

The awards are open to all Highland businesses – large and small, new and well established, and from every sector – so there really is something for everyone. What’s more, winners and shortlisted nominees get to shout about their achievements for a whole year!

The deadline for nominations is this Friday, August 11 at 5pm.
