A new gym has opened in Inverness.
Everlast Fitness at the Inverness Retail Park has sprung into action in the former DW premises - with some former staff members regaining their jobs.
DW Fitness went into administration back in August and staff were told they no longer had jobs. Therefore the news comes as a relief for many in the Inverness fitness industry.
Customer experience manager at Everlast, Hollie MacIver (22) said she and her colleagues were delighted to be back.
She said: "It is a fresh team for a fresh start.
"Everlast is all about what we can do to make customers feel welcome and safe as they get back to, or to start training with us. We are a friendly safe environment where people can use the gym and swim.
"We have measures in place to meet covid standards, and over and above these we want to hear from our members about the ways in which we can encourage them back into training and swimming with us.
"A number of staff members that were with DW have been employed by Everlast, and it is great to also have some new members of the teas areas in the gym for people to train, including our training machines, and weights area– and of course we also have a great swimming pool.
"We also have classes on line.
"People can continue to use our changing rooms, everything is safely in place to reduce the risk of infection. We are also reducing the numbers of members in the gym at any time."
Ms MacIver said that until the current restrictions change, the spa and steam room area were currently closed.
She continued: "It is great to see so many people coming back to us, and we are looking forward to welcoming more members. Please feel free to come in and see us - and we can show you round.

"We look forward to seeing people again soon."
