It’s only a little over four weeks until the baritone voice of Rag’n’Bone Man will be heard echoing through the Northern Meeting Park in Inverness.

The singer has now announced the special guests set to join him on Sunday, July 2.

First on the line-up is Scottish band, Shambolics, who formed in 2018.

During the pandemic, the band showcased a series of classic cover versions including Fleetwood Mac’s ‘Everywhere’, The Weeknd’s ‘Blinding Lights’, ABBA’s ‘Mamma Mia’ and The Stones ’Sympathy for the Devil’; finding a raft of new fans with their uplifting reworkings.

Last year the five-piece toured across the UK and in April they released their latest EP, ‘U SERIOUS BOI?’.

Josh Barry is the second support artist joining the bill, warming up the crowd just before Rag’n’Bone Man takes to the stage.

He draws on soul and funk influences from music industry icons, taking inspiration from Bob Marley, Jimi Hendrix, and James Brown as well as Michael Jackson and Bob Dylan.

Over the past decade he has featured on dance hits with the likes of Gorgon City, Sonny Fodera, The Martinez Brothers and Rudimental.

In addition to this, he recently collaborated and featured alongside Nile Rodgers and Wh0 on their song, ‘Better Day’.

In 2021, Josh Barry released his latest debut EP, ‘Art & Soul’. Since then, he has put together a full band dubbed ‘The Broken Hearts’.

Tickets for the Inverness gig can be purchased online from ticketline.co.ukor in person from Caffery’s Menswear in the Eastgate Shopping Centre.
