The latest fundraiser by an inspiring Inverness family will help more people in need.

A quiz night held at King's Church in Inverness has raised a total of £1076.

Organised as part of the Albie's Gift effort it was just the latest fundraiser from the family of the Inverness baby who died tragically just after his first birthday.

Determined to see some good come out of a very personal tragedy Albie's proud mum Daisy McKenzie, husband Eoin and their friends have focussed their efforts on doing what they can to help baby loss support charity Held in our Hearts.

A walking challenge that initially sought volunteers willing to collectively walk the length of Britain last week saw them reach the equivalent of walking from Scotland to Pakistan and now the quiz night has added to their efforst.

Daisy said: "King's Inverness gave us the venue for free, had volunteers on the night to help with running things and supplied yummy refreshments, so a big thank you to them."

Daisy added: "And of course thank you to everyone who took the time to spend the evening with us and donate to Held In Our Hearts in memory of our precious Albie.
