Pubs and bars in Inverness are recognised at awards ceremony

Bars and pubs in Inverness were honoured in an awards ceremony tonight for the first time since the start of the pandemic.

The 2022 Best Bar None Awards were held at the city’s Waterside Hotel.

A total of 20 venues took part, with 160 guests attending, with charitable donations at the event going to mental health cause Mikeysline.

The White House was named the best newcomer, The Chieftain Hotel won the heart of the community and Johnny Foxes & The Den received the innovation and social responsibility award.

Johnny Foxes & The Den; The Chieftain Hotel; Platform 8; R&B's; The Caledonian; Bar One; The Gellions; The Auctioneers; Monty's; 33 Church Street; The King's Highway; Revolution; Scotch & Rye; MacCallums; The White House; and The Wee Bar all received gold awards.

Lauders, The Highlander and The Keg got silver awards while Jimmy Badgers received a bronze award.
