Owners of a Inverness pub which closed in early September are looking for a new tenant.

Cairngorm Taverns owns the freehold of Rose Street Foundry, in Academy Street, and it is being marketed by the Inverness office of Graham + Sibbald for an annual rent of £75,000.

The building covers a total area of 8667 square feet, over two floors and advantages being promoted include:

• its city centre location on a high profile corner site;

• it was recently refurbished to a high standard;

• and it would suit corporate operators.

A spokesman said: "The pub is set in a listed two storey and attic building and has recently undergone extensive refurbishment.

"The unit extends to over 8000 square feet and has a capacity for around 240.

"Internally the high level of finish must be viewed to be appreciated. The ground floor offers split level bar and restaurant areas with the first floor offering a restaurant with a private function room.

"The property also offers fully fitted and functional kitchen (serving both floors with a dumb waiter), toilets on both floors, along with staff facilities and cellar."

At the time of the closure the owners said the move was due to escalating staff and energy costs and a Cost of Living crisis.
