CITY landmarks are to be adorned in Caley Thistle's colours this weekend – as the club seeks to secure football immortality in the Scottish Cup final.
Inverness Town House will fly the Caley Jag's flag and the nearby Ness Bridge will be lit in the club colours in support of the club as they seek to win against Celtic and complete a fairytale cup story.
Inverness Provost, Glynis Campbell Sinclair, said everyone in the city was "extremely proud" of the club, and urged the public to "all get behind the team, and give them as much support as we can."
Wishing the club the best of luck ahead of Saturday's game, she said: “We are all extremely proud that our local team, Inverness Caledonian Thistle have reached the Scottish Cup Final for a second time. It is a great achievement.
“The team deserve our full support going into Saturday’s final, and I and many others, will be cheering them on.
“To show our backing we will be flying the Caley Thistle Flag from Inverness Town House at the weekend and lighting up Ness Bridge in the club colours.
“Let’s all get behind the team, and give them as much support as we can.”
