Several addresses in Inverness are without power with scores of locations across Scotland also suffering power cuts.
Dozens of streets in the IV2 and IV3 area, including parts of Dalneigh, have no power, possibly due to the ongoing Storm Ciara.
SSE is aiming to have power restored by 5.30pm.
Parts of IV2 and IV12, between Inverness and Nairn, are also without electricity and SSE is aiming to have it restored by 7pm.
