Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks (SSEN) confirms power cut affecting Highland homes in Fort Augustus

A POWER cut affected dozens of homes and businesses in Fort Augustus on Wednesday morning, engineers have confirmed.

Sixteen different postcode areas in and around the village were affected by an unplanned power outage at 6.54am this morning, Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks (SSEN) has confirmed.

A spokesman said: "We're sorry for the loss of supply. We currently have a fault affecting the areas listed. If you need more information please call us on 105 or send us a message on Facebook or Twitter (@ssencommunity) and quote reference 'JJ1813'."

The 16 affected postcodes are: PH32, PH32 4AB, PH32 4AU, PH32 4AY, PH32 4AZ, PH32 4BA, PH32 4BD, PH32 4BG, PH32 4BH, PH32 4BQ, PH32 4BY, PH32 4BZ, PH32 4DR, PH32 4DS, PH32 4DY, PH32 4DZ.
