Residents in Inverness have been left without power this afternoon.

It is understood that 66 SSEN customers in the Harrowden Road area are affected and an engineer was due to arrive there at 3.25pm.

It is hoped that the electricity supply will be restored by 6pm.

A spokesman said: "We are sorry for the loss of supply affecting Harrowden Road and the surrounding areas of Inverness. We have a fault on our local network affecting up to 66 customers."
