A new edition poster is to be produced containing information on sources of free food and emergency help in the Inverness area.

It is being organised by the Rotary Club of Inverness Riverside which also brought together a range of charitable services and organisations in the area at an autumn gathering.

“Hence the gathering of charities event and posters was born, as a way for these professionals to network together,” she said.

“Often they are helping the same clients.

“After meeting each other at the gathering, they can refer their clients to other specialists they met.”

“Everyone in attendance is a professional in their field, and every day they come across local people and families in desperate times of need,” Ms MacAllister said.

“We felt the three speakers really pitched at their professional audience, and hopefully their messages will filter down directly to end users.”
