Beauly golf course among those reopening after coronavirus restrictions eased

Aigas Golf Course has reopened its course near Beauly after lockdown restrictions were relaxed by the Scottish Government.

Joan and Bill Forrester, from Beauly, were at the first tee this morning.

Alice Masheter, from Aigas Golf Course, said: "We have reopened the golf course in line with the latest update from Scottish Government. We will be following current guidance on health, physical distancing and hygiene.

"Tee times will be managed and booked in advance – no turn up and play is allowed."

She said that people playing on their own and two balls, three balls and four balls are allowed as long as group members are from only two households and physical distancing is maintained at all times

The clubhouse will remain closed, with an honesty box for green fees.
