Former Chancellor Rishi Sunak is set to become Prime Minister after winning the Conservative party leadership election.

He was elected unchallenged after former PM Boris Johnson dropped out of the race on Sunday and Penny Mordaunt failed to reach the required level of support for a vote.

He will be the third Prime Minister in less than two months.
