Forget Love Island and Line of Duty, we have a new obsession, "Nairn" - Police Scotland's latest recruit.

The 17.2hh, five-year-old Clydesdale horse from Nairn, of course, has successfully completed a 28 day trial to be accepted into the Police Scotland mounted unit.

The horse completed training and even played his part in keeping a Euro 2020 match peaceful in Glasgow.

Sharing photos of his time with the mounted unit, a police spokeswoman said: "Hi everyone! I'm Nairn, the newest recruit at Police Scotland mounted unit!

"I'm a 17.2hh, five year old Clydesdale from - you guessed it - Nairn! I've just completed my 28 day trial where I've been on various patrols and even at the Euros!
