Missing Inverness man found safe after RNLI intervention





Police have found a missing man from Inverness yesterday evening, with two RNLI lifeboats involved in the search.

Police have found a missing Inverness man yesterday evening, after two RNLI lifeboats were called out to help with searches.

A police spokeswoman has confirmed that a man from Inverness was found safe and well after searches were carried out around the Cromarty and the Moray Firth.

RNLI North Kessock and Invergordon's lifeboats were launched respectively at 11.20pm and 11.51pm on February 17 after they received a call by the police to support the searches.

The Inverness man was eventually found safe and well on land in the area by Police Scotland.
