A road safety project aimed at older drivers and their families is to hold road safety sessions in Drumnadrochit.

Driver Engagement North, led by Police Scotland, will run the events at the Craigmonie Centre at Glen Urquhart High School on Saturday July 23 and Saturday July 30 at 10am.

The session makes use of an interactive driving simulator to assess and highlight a participant's reactions, hazard awareness and any potential vulnerabilities.

The project has received funding from Transport Scotland and has also received support from several partners including the NHS, local authority community safety groups, IAM Roadsmart, Age Concern and RoSPA.

Anyone wanting to attend should email CraigmonieCC@highlifehighland.com, or contact the centre directly.
