Police raided a property in Smithton and arrested a woman for dealing drugs.

The search was carried out on March 22, 2021 in Murray Terrace, where 30-year-old Olivia Mackay lived.

The case at Inverness Sheriff Court was delayed several times because Mackay, who now lives in Croft Street, Dalkeith frequently failed to turn up for the hearings.

A co-accused from Liverpool, is awaiting sentence.

Both admitted being concerned in the supply of cocaine. In addition, Mackay pleaded guilty to failing to appear.

Fiscal depute Pauline Gair told the court: "Officers found £280 in cash in her bra, a number of mobile phones, other drugs paraphernalia and seven wraps of cocaine.”

Sentence was deferred until June 18 when both will be dealt with and Mackay was remanded in custody.
