Police Scotland probe after woman taken to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness for treatment

Police are investigating after a 55-year-old woman was taken to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness yesterday morning.

A force spokeswoman said: "Officers were called to a property on Dalcroy Road, Inverness at around 9.20am on Saturday to a report of a person injured.

" A 55-year-old woman was taken to Raigmore Hospital for treatment."

"Enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances around the incident."

It is thought her injuries are not life threatening.
