Police issue warning over counterfeit 50-Euro notes found in Inverness city centre

Police warning over counterfeit notes.

Police would like to make businesses and the general public in the Inverness area aware of a recent circulation of counterfeit 50-Euro notes.

They were within the city-centre and had the following serial numbers: S61161315115, S61161312655, S61711315622, PB0046644949 and PB0046649969.

They were identified using a UV-pen test and anyone with any information is urged to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting reference: NN/6133/20.
