Police have issued an appeal for help in finding a missing man reported missing from Inverness.

Jay Williamson (29) is believed to have travelled from the city to Edinburgh.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: “We are appealing to the public for information after Jay Williamson - 29 - has been reported missing from Inverness.

“Jay is described as a white male, 5"8, slim build with shaven hair.

“He has a scar on the right side of his face. He was last seen wearing a suit or t shirt.

“Jay may have travelled to Edinburgh by bus and he may still be there.”

Anyone with information that might help locate Mr Williamson is asked to contact officers on 101 quoting incident 3031 of 17/04/2024
