Police officers are carrying out inquiries after donations were stolen from an Inverness church.

The incident happened at St Mary’s Roman Catholic Church on Saturday.

Parish priest issues plea for donations

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We received a report of theft from a church in Huntly Street in Inverness at 5.20pm on Saturday 4 February. Inquiries are ongoing."
