The 29-year-old - also known as Malcolm - was reported missing from the Culduthel area of the city on Sunday, September 23.

The most recent confirmed sighting of him is at the city’s Asda supermarket shortly after 2pm on that day.

Extensive enquiries are ongoing to trace him and officers are urging anyone who can help to get in touch as soon as possible.

Chief Inspector James Rice said: "As times passes we naturally grow increasingly concerned for Calum's wellbeing.

"We know that he was seen at Asda in the Slackbuie area around 2pm but we have no confirmed sightings of Calum after that.

"Calum is known to walk extensively. A favourite area for him to walk is on the roads around Inverarnie.

"We do not know if he has gone that way but I would people to think back to Sunday afternoon and let us know if you believe you have seen Calum then or at any time since.

"If Calum himself is able to see this then please get in touch - you are not in any trouble, we just want to make sure you are safe."

He is 5ft 9in and of slight build with short red hair and stubble.

When last seen he was wearing a dark coloured jacket, jeans, a grey/red woolly hat and carrying a rucksack.

If you can help police locate Calum call 101, quoting reference NN10273/18, as soon as you can.
