Police who received intelligence that a 23-year-old Inverness man was dealing drugs obtained a search warrant on October 2, 2020.

Executed a week later at Ethan Jackson’s house in the city’s Drumossie Road, a total of 535 grams of cannabis and £2325 in cash was recovered, Inverness Sheriff Court was told.

Although the drugs had a minimum street value of £3000, fiscal depute Pauline Gair told Sheriff Sara Matheson that they “were worth more depending upon how they were sold”.

Also recovered were drugs paraphernalia including scales and a mobile phone which contained messages indicating that Jackson was involved in dealing.

He admitted being concerned in the supply of cannabis from his home and sentence was deferred until June 13 for a background report.

His bail was continued.
