Emergency services in attendance after pedestrian injured in Inverness crash

Inverness city centre is at a standstill after a pedestrian was hit by a vehicle.

Emergency services are in attendance after the incident that happened at 4.40pm on Grant Street.

A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "Around 4.40pm on Monday December 21, officers in Inverness were called to the report of a road traffic crash involving a vehicle and a pedestrian.

"Emergency services are currently in attendance and the road is closed between Gilbert Street and Nelson Street."
