Police in Inverness appeal for information on a vandalism incident where yellow paint was placed on the outside walls of a property in Hawthorn Drive

Police in Inverness are hunting vandals who daubed yellow paint onto the outside of a house in the Highland capital.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: "We are looking for information in relation to a vandalism where yellow paint was put over the outside walls of a house on Hawthorn Drive, Inverness."

It is believed it happened around 4.50am on Monday.

Anyone with any information about the incident is urged to contact Police Scotland on 101 with ref no 1136 of March 1 or confidentially through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
