POLICE in Nairn are appealing for information to assist inquiries into expensive damage caused to a vehicle in the town.

Between 9pm on Saturday June 5and 8am on Sunday June 6, substantial deliberate damage was caused to a vehicle parked on Cawdor Road Terrace.

Constable Gray, of Nairn Police Station: "As part of ongoing inquiries we are appealing to anyone who has any information on the vandalism or saw any suspicious behaviour in the Queenspark area on Saturday night to make contact.

"Hundreds of pounds worth of damage has been caused to someone's property and this is simply not acceptable. Tackling anti-social behaviour of all kinds remains a top policing priority locally and we value the community's assistance with this matter."

He also appealed to anyone who may have been driving on or near Cawdor Road after 9pm on Saturday night (June 5) with dash cam footage which may assist the police inquiries to come forward.
