Man caught on A9 with drugs

Sentence has been deferred on an Inverness man caught with £40,000 worth of amphetamine.
The city’s sheriff court heard the drugs were found within a vehicle being driven by Henry Dickinson (27).
Fiscal depute Pauline Gair said the officers pulled over the car around 11.30pm on May 13, 2020, on the A9 near Dalwhinnie.
There was also more than two grammes of diamorphine found in the vehicle.
Sheriff Robert Frazer asked for background reports to be carried out and deferred sentence until March 16.
Dickinson, of Cradlehall Park, admitted being concerned in the supply of the amphetamine and possession of heroin.
