Police confirm man (27) arrested in connection with assault in Inverness

Police Scotland have confirmed that a 27-year-old man has been arrested in connection with an assault in January.
The incident took place in Baron Taylor Street in Inverness on Saturday, January 7.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Following our media appeal in relation to an assault in Baron Taylor Street, Inverness, on Saturday, January 7, 2023.
"A 27-year-old man has been arrested and reported to the Procurator Fiscal in connection with the incident. He has been released on an undertaking to appear at Inverness Sheriff Court on Thursday, August 17, 2023."
