Police are carrying out inquiries following a one-vehicle crash.

Police are carrying out inquiries following a one-vehicle crash in Inverness yesterday afternoon.

Officers were called to the incident which happened in Crown Road about 3.25pm.

The vehicle was left at the scene.

A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "There was no trace of the driver or occupants of the vehicle, an Audi A5, on police arrival."

She said there were no reports, so far, of anyone injured.

"Inquiries into the incident are continuing," she added.
