Police are investigating a suspicious fire in Inverness

Police are appealing for information following a suspicious fire at a property in the Hilton area.

The incident is believed to have taken place in Evan Barron Road at around 11.45am last Sunday.

Emergency services attended and extinguished the fire, with no injuries reported as a result.

Detective Constable Claire Maclean said: “We are appealing for anyone with information relating to this incident, or if you were in the Evan Barron Road area around the time, to please call police on 101, quoting incident 1755 of September 4, 2022. Alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, if you wish to remain anonymous.”
