Police appeal over Inverness city centre assault

Police are appealing for information after a 55-year-old man was assaulted in Inverness city centre on Monday night (March 28).

Investigating officers are looking to speak to four males, described in their early 20s.

They are believed to have been wearing baggy tracksuit bottoms but there is no further desciption.

The man did not require medical attention.

The incident took place between Bridge Street and Academy Street.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: “If anyone has witnessed this incident or has any information please contact 101 quoting reference CR/0011480/22 or alternatively Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
