Police appeal for witnesses to a 'very dangerous' overtake on the B862 near Dores

Police are appealing for witnesses after an alleged dangerous manoeuvre on the B862 between Inverness and Dores at Scaniport.

The incident, that invovled a "small dark car", happened around 4.30pm on Thursday January 14 at the stretch of road near to Borlum farm

A police spokeswoman said: "Police are appealing for witnesses (including anyone with dash cam footage) who may have witnessed a dangerous driving incident on the B862 near Scaniport on January 14 2021 around 4.30pm.

"It has been reported a small dark car completed a very dangerous overtake on the stretch of road around Borlum farm, narrowly avoiding a road traffic collision."
