Police Scotland officers in Inverness appeal for information after red Volkswagen Caddy van stolen near Argos in Eastfield Way retail park

POLICE in Inverness have appealed for information after a van was stolen from a city retail park in broad daylight.

The red Volkswagen Caddy, vehicle registration W313 OSA, was removed from the Eastfield Way car park at about 2.55pm on Monday.

Reporting officer Constable Gary Duncan said: "We are appealing to anyone who saw anyone acting suspiciously in the car park near to the Argos store, or who has since seen the van to pass this information on to us.

"Anyone with information relating to this theft should call 101, quoting reference PS/2062/19, or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
