Public appeal from Highland police after 'large quantity'of fuel stolen from business premises over weekend

A LARGE quantity of fuel has been stolen from an Easter Ross quarry over the weekend, prompting an appeal for information from police.
Police said today that the incident happened at the business premises of Castlecraig Quarry at Nigg in Easter Ross at some time between 3pm on Saturday, June 18 and 8.30am on yesterday morning.
In an appeal for witnesses, police said: "The premises were entered and a large quantity of fuel stolen.
"Anyone with any information is asked to contact Police on 101 quoting reference number 1136 of 19th June 2022."
