POLICE were last night "anxious" to trace a missing person who has not been seen since Wednesday evening.

Paul William Davidson (41) was last seen in the Drakies area of Inverness at about 8pm on 28th January.

He is of thin build, 6ft with very short and receding black hair.

"When last seen he was wearing a blue "Craghoppers" fleece and black jeans. He may also be wearing an open neck shirt and tan CAT boots. He speaks with a slight Aberdeenshire accent," said a police spokesman.

"We are appealing for Paul to contact them, or alternatively a family member, to confirm that he is safe and well."

Police believe he may be travelling in a silver Skoda Octavia, registration number SA56 DKF.

Any person who believes they may know Paul’s whereabouts or has seen the car should call police on 101.
