Plants have arrived at Raigmore Hospital in Inverness to bring a little bit of cheer to patients and staff.

High Life Highland staff at Inverness Botanic Gardens and Nursery delivered the plants which are now located near the hospital renal unit.

Inverness Botanic Gardens and Nursery manager Ewan Mackintosh said: “We would usually be in the midst of a busy time of year for the gardens, with lots of new spring plants bringing exciting colour for all our visitors. Although we were able to cancel most of our planned deliveries, it was too late to do this for a small number of orders. This opportunity means that the plants will still bring benefit to others as they brighten the days of both patients and staff at the hospital during this unusual time.”
