AN application for planning in principle for 101 new homes in Inverness has been lodged with Highland Council.

The scheme, being promoted by RF More (Properties) Limited, is made up of seven detached homes, 20 semi-detached houses, 44 cottage flats and 30 self-build plots on a 7.4 hectares site near Inshes Mews and Cloverfield Road.

An existing farm building on the site will be maintained and developed as part of the plan. It is hoped that new residential streets, open spaces and an adventure play area will be included.

Planning papers show that RF More has had discussions with Highland Housing Alliance to provide 26 affordable homes within the number of homes proposed.
