Piping Inverness is returning this summer for the event's second year at Bught Park with an exciting opportunity for local business owners.

The hosts of the European Pipe Band Championships are gearing up for another family-fun filled day on Saturday, June 25.

Organisers welcomed more than 17,500 visitors to the inaugural event back in 2019.

Event service providers LCC Live, who are behind the organisation of Piping Inverness, are excited to be welcoming international guests back to the area after a two-year hiatus due to Covid-19 restrictions.

A spokeswoman said: "LCC Live are encouraging local traders to add the event to their 2022 calendars in a bid to showcase the very best in food, drink, craft, retail and entertainment to both local and international attendees on the day.

"Three charity organisations also have the opportunity to partner with Piping Inverness, attending the event so they may promote their services to the large audience on the day."

Traders can head to the Piping Inverness website to download their application forms and submit them by the deadline of Friday, April 15.
