AN inaugural Christmas vintage and craft fair at an Inverness venue has raised about £800 for a children’s charity.

The event, at Bogbain Farm, was organised by manager Laura MacIntyre in aid of MFR Cash for Kids.

As well as a range of stalls, the attractions included Santa and Leo the donkey from Trots of Fun which runs pony parties and animal therapy sessions.

“We have started doing vintage fairs but nothing at Christmas,” Ms MacIntyre said.

“We were overwhelmed with the support from stall holders and customers.

“Already we have plans in motion for next year to make it more family-friendly, with more things for children.

“This was our first year and it was a bit trial and error to see what we could do.”

Ms MacIntyre is also raising money for Cash for Kids by setting herself the challenge of completing 40 Munros.
