PUPILS all over Inverness have been delighting friends and relatives with their festive shows.

Youngsters at Central Primary performed a nativity, with children from P3 acting as narrators. P2 performed a version of Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and the P1 pupils appeared as characters on stage. Around 70 pupils were involved altogether.

Tots at Kinmylies Nursery dressed as elves, reindeer and chimneys for their show, and some children used sign language.

Hilton Primary youngsters donned bright colours and tinsel for their nativity and talented children at Raigmore Primary included instruments in their performance.

Head teacher Autumn MacAulay said: “Well done to all of our Raigmore children for such a beautiful and musical nativity this Christmas.

“Kerry Challinor led the show with her P3 children acting out the parts and the P7s narrating. We were so proud to have Nikki McKinnie and her ukulele group open the show and to have other children keeping us all entertained.”
